The new BIM Magazine is out!

The cover of Bim Volume 6 feature art by Alison Chapman-Andrews

It's a good-looking issue with artwork by Barbadian visual artist Alison Chapman-Andrews on the cover and throughout. It’s reading pretty good, too, with writing from Olive Senior, John R. Lee,Vladimir Lucien, Danielle Boodoo-Fortuné, Kwame Dawes, Mark McWatt , Edwidge Danticat, Carlyon Blackman, Ronald Williams and others including ArtsEtc's own Robert Edison Sandiford and Linda M. Deane. This largely poetry edition also features translations of work from Haitian and Cuban writers.

Not available digitally as yet (the publishers should consider this option), but copies are available from the University of the West Indies, www.cavehill.uwi.edu/bimarts, the University Bookshop, Cloister bookstore, and other Barbados outlets.

Bim Arts for the 21st Century is edited by Barbadian author and educator Esther Phillips.
