UNFETTERED
don’t enclose me within the palisades of time. don’t imprison me within the barricades of your mind. the constriction of your limiting web is strangling my soul. I need to breathe fresh air feel the wind soar the sky. i hanker for horizons to let my compass chart. nothing dictates my adherence to your blueprint
don’t enclose me
within the palisades of time.
don’t imprison me
within the barricades of your mind.
the constriction
of your limiting web
is strangling my soul.
I need
to breathe fresh air
feel the wind
soar the sky.
i hanker for horizons
to let my compass chart.
nothing
dictates my adherence
to your blueprint for my vessel.
my body’s an unfettered tempest
my heart a dare to conquest.
you can moor me in caring
if you leave open the port.
